For this project, THE main goal WAS to create an easily understandable and user friendly space that invites its users in a welcoming manor. An emphasis on helping rehabilitate individuals struggling with substance abuse wAS implemented throughout this design. Efficient circulation throughout spaces and easy access WAS a driving force within this project. The consideration of sound, light, texture, and materiality wAS ALSO considered and heavily influence many design decisions. each space in the building workS towards helping individuals feel safe and comfortable. every other program workS for one another by exemplifying relaxation and a sense of community.
